My boyfriend and I had both been renters in Atlanta for seven years since graduating college. We loved the Virginia Highland neighborhood in which we were currently renting, but figured we wouldn't be able to afford to buy a home here. Two of our friends recently bought houses, and we were jealous, so on a whim we started house hunting, and on Zillow we immediately found a place right down the street from us that looked amazing and was actually affordable. So, we needed a realtor ASAP. One of our aforementioned friends had a bad experience with their realtor, but the other friend had Jennifer as her realtor and had nothing but great things to say, so I reached out to Jennifer. Jennifer booked us a viewing of that property for the very next day along with two other properties about which we were curious. We fell in love with it, and Jennifer advised that we put an offer on it quickly, so she put an offer in for us that very same day. We knew very little about the home buying process, and Jennifer took care to explain to us all the little details. Jennifer was able to negotiate an amazing deal for us! The next morning, after Jennifer's negotiation, our offer was accepted for $10,000 under listing price and also $6,500 from the seller in closing costs! Throughout the rest of the process, Jennifer was extremely attentive. Our closing date was set for 30 days from the date our offer was accepted, and Jennifer did everything to make sure we made that deadline. Whenever we needed her, she was always there, responding within minutes if not immediately.
